Jan von Holleben's ABC Photography takes the classic children's ABC book and reinvents it. Using the alphabet format, each double page takes a photographic concept (art, light, exposure, time and so on) and pairs this with an image from one of the photographic contributors, along with a clever and insightful explanation.
The book brings together a collection of international photo heroes and younger acclaimed photographers from various walks of life: artists, documentary photographers, commercial photographers, illustrators or just curious image makers. What unites them all is a visionary concept within their work, the relentless energy to create images that amaze and their interest to communicate with children.
